A bit about me...

Hi! My name is Mia Gerachis, PrinCESS of Genovia (I couldn't resist). I am a New York-based actor, singer, dancer who hails originally from Houston, TX (Go Astros!). Growing up, I split my time between athletics and the arts until I decided to officially pursue a BFA in musical theatre during high school.  I then set off to study at NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the New Studio on Broadway.  During my time at NYU, not only was I fortunate to take part in many wonderful productions and meet incredible collaborators; NYU also encouraged me to find out what kind of artist I wanted to become. Since graduating in May 2017, I have had the opportunity to lead several professional shows, including Jekyll & Hyde (Lucy Harris, opposite Constantine Maroulis) at Virginia Musical Theatre, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator) at Casa MaƱana, and the national tour of ELF (Jovie). I also have a passion for new work, performing original music by several composers such as Joey Contreras and David Reiser, as well as originating a role in the 2017 New York Theatre Festival production of Dirty July, a play by Kate Thomas. I spent last summer up at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival playing Rizzo in GREASE, as well as playing Francine Valli in Jersey Boys at North Shore Music Theatre. I am eternally grateful for my family, friends, teachers, and the entire team at Clear Talent Group. Can't wait to see where this life in the arts takes me next!

Also, I firmly believe that coffee can fix anything.

Sincerely,
Mia Gerachis
